The KILWA SEAVIEW RESORT (MBUYUNI) set up on a cliff overlooking the Kilwa Masoko Bay. The restaurant and bar with its natural palm thatched roof, built around an old Baobab tree and our stoned bandas in African style. All have a view towards the island of Kilwa Kisiwani with its 14th century ruins. The resorts 250 meter sandy beach invites swimmers, snorkelers & relaxers.

The Mbuyu Restaurant and Bar are situated under a palm leave thatched roof around a large old Baobab tree, on top of a cliff, facing the Kilwa Masoko Bay & the island of Kilwa Kisiwani with its ruins.
The kitchen provides a variety of cuisines specializing on different seafoods

The accomodation at Kilwa Seaview Resort is in large stoned bandas, mosquito & insect proof, with en- suite bathrooms, and a verandah. The bandas are large and roomy equipped with fans and 3 to 4 beds ideal for families in African style all with view to the ocean. Some bandas are equipped with a T.V.

Construction of the resort was commenced on the 9 th of June 2003 by its owners & seven tanzanian staff. Soft Opening is since 1st October 2003.

The owners of the camp & their staff have been operating smaller fly- camps within the Selous Game Reserve & Southern Tanzania since 1997.

Historisches, Höhlen, Schnorcheln, Tauchen, Dhow Segeln, Angeln, Segeln, oder einfach auf den Stränden Kilwas und im Swimming Pool ausruhen und geniesen.

Das “Kilwa Seaview Resort”, von den Eingeborenen “MBUYUNI” benannt, da es um einen alten Affenbrotbaum gebaut wurde, steht auf einer Klippe über der Bucht von Kilwa. Man hat einen guten Ausblick zur nahen Insel Kilwa Kisiwani mit ihren Ruinen aus dem 14. Jahrhundert.

Die im afrikanischen Stiel errichtete, Palmenblatt gedeckte, Bungalowanlage verfügt über ein Restaurant mit Bar und Swimmingpool. 

Die Küche bietet eine große Vielfalt internationaler und afrikanischer Gerichte an. Eine Spezialität sind die verschiedensten Speisen aus dem Meer.

Die Unterbringung im Kilwa Seaview Resort erfolgt in  gemauerten, Moskito- und Insektensicheren Bungalows mit integriertem Bad und WC. Die geräumigen Vierbettzimmer im afrikanischen Stiel sind mit TV, Kühlschrank und Ventilator ausgerüstet. Von der möblierten Veranda hat man einen herrlichen Blick über die Bucht von Kilwa.

Der  250 m lange Sandstrand des Hotels lädt Schwimmer, Schnorchler und Erholungssuchende zu einem Besuch ein. Eine Strandbar, schattenspendende Palmendachschirme mit Strandliegen und eine Stranddusche sind in der Planung. 

Der Bau des Hotels wurde am 9. Juni 2003 vom Besitzer und 7 tansanischen Helfern begonnen. Die Eröffnung war am 1. Oktober 2003.

Der Besitzer des Hotels betreibt seit 1997 im Selous Game Reserve und im Süden Tansanias noch andere Unterkünfte für Touristen.
